Cooden Cellars, run by Colin Barnes and Ian Jarman, specialises in wines of distinction and character not found elsewhere locally.

The wines, accessories, amazing range of bottle bags/boxes and their wine knowledge create a convivial and helpful atmosphere in the shop, where all are welcome.

Ian has run his own company for six years, specialising in French wines, and holds a diploma from the Wine and Spirit Educatiuon Trust.

They taste and select all the wines, which goes some way to explain all the corks in their window, and can advise on these and other exciting wines shortly to arrive.

Colin has been a wine merchant for over 10 years and runner up for two prestigious wine awards, and has appeared on several radio shows. 'We are about quality, service and the enjoyment of wine', says Colin. 'We're really pleased to be here and hope we can make a unique difference to people's shopping experience'.
